Really? 99%? So 99 percent of cops NEVER break the law, never lie, never cheat the system, enforce every law fairly and justly, AND report other cops who do?

No. That last two parts is the key. Sure, I'd be willing to say most cops don't break the law, lie, or cheat the system, but it's a known fact that a shit-ton and a half of cops push their forensics agents to point things at a certain guy "because they know it's him," or "misplace" evidence that may exonerate a suspect. Almost every cop lies to get a confession, and a whole hell of a lot lie in a police report to get the guy "because they know it's him." I doubt there are ten people on this board who would say they've never had an experience of a dick cop being a dick to them and giving them a ticket they really didn't deserve (cops on the side of the road with their lights off after dark, for instance - never mind people being arrested and their only charge is "resisting arrest"), so clearly a lot of cops don't enforce every law fairly or justly.

And there is no fucking way anyone can say 99% of cops, witnessing other cops being shitty cops, would report them to IA.
