I have never seen or heard of this happen. I'm sure it probably has just like freak accidents happen everywhere. They are pretty heavily monitored and are uploaded to clouds. They will never be lost and a citizen has the right to ask the department to the view the footage

Literally every cop shooting in the past three years where the officer was supposed to be wearing a body cam had one of those things happen.

I remember a cop shooting in Michigan a couple years back where the police officer's testimony for shooting a 70+ year old woman was "coming at him with a knife." Look at the body cam footage, and you see the camera pushed up to look at the sky, then he tells her to drop it. Less than a second later, he shoots her dead, and the camera comes back down just to see her fall to her death.

She was no less than 50 feet away.


When you say "literally every shooting," you kill your own argument. Go on Liveleaks. Watch the body cam footage.
