Whoops, I quoted the wrong post. My point is that people will try to delegitamize something they don't like by saying is isn't canon, when really that means nothing. It's all fiction, the new movies are just as real as the old ones.
Again so if i bought the rights,and made it so jar jar binks built the death star and was darth vader all along. You would be okay with that?
I wouldn't be ok with it, but I also wouldn't insist that it's not canon.
