For the record, I'm not even a big JRPG fan. I've mostly grown out of that phase. I would say "well I don't mean literally ALL of them" but nowadays it's literally all of them. Eh, I thought Persona 5 was alright, in that it was critical of Japan's "not my problem" and "always respect authority figures no matter how terrible they are" mentalities. A good bit of social commentary is something I can always get behind. I think I know what you mean otherwise though.
