Topic | Why do women think they were treated so horribly in history? |
Gamer99z 01/04/18 5:05:22 PM #26: | LittleRoyal posted... Even today, rape happens very very frequently and mostly to women. More men are raped annually in America than women. And THAT'S what isn't taken seriously. For the most part rape is taken very seriously by courts so long as the evidence is there, except for the known instances where people get off or get off easy and everyone in America who isn't a rapist gets outraged. But justice isn't seen for a lot of things, not just rape. "Most" women aren't abused in those ways, many are at one time or another, including other women as lesbians have the highest domestic abuse rates. There are many, many services and resources for helping a woman get out of an abusive relationship, there's next to none for men. Shit, I actually got let go from even being allowed to volunteer at a woman's shelter after they decided to let all the male employees go to keep it a safe place for women. There's nothing like that for men who are victims of domestic abuse at nearly the same rates as women. Yeah there's tons of issues facing women as well as men, but no reason to misrepresent the situation to seem like everything is tilted against women. That's not how any of the issues get fixed. Also TC, this is a dumb topic. The answer is because they fucking were. --- "You need to lay off the peanut-butthurt and u-jelly sandwiches" - NeonOctopus ... Copied to Clipboard! |
