Yeah at first it can make you feel like you're being super awkward around people, even when you're not. "OMG I just told that person I ate a banana one time. They're going to think I'm literally Hitler now!!!" Just remember, you're only experiencing a heightened amount of paranoia, and especially under those conditions, you are your worst critic. Proceed to socialize as if you have done nothing wrong, because you haven't.
