Walking in the door at 9:58 to grab some milk and eggs should not trigger anybody.
It's been said multiple times itt why employees can't work unauthorized overtime. By 9:58 the store is pretty much closed up anyway.
But it's not closed. And it has also been said multiple times itt that shit policies aren't a customer problem, they're a company problem. If they'll fire you for staying over because you were helping a customer then fuck it, probably was a shit place to work for anyway.
Coming into the store 2 minutes before closing (at which point you're practically trespassing past closing) is a customer problem.
I don't even know why you guys are trying to argue this, lol. There's literally no excuse for coming into the store at 9:58.
Why can't you let people in the door till 10? That's what open till 10 means.
