I haven't read through the topic completely, but have gotten some details from discussing this with others...
- Aside from the foolish idea to upload that shit I saw nothing wrong with his initial reactions. Yes, he made that joke, but that was deflection. All he could do was tell a bad joke as means to keep his emotions in check. No one wants people to see them crack.
Furthermore, i'm a shitty amv maker, and even i have enough skills to know how to cut around actually showing the body if those views, views, VIEWS!!!! were that important. PoS...
- It seemed like he tried to see if the person...released themselves.
- Given japan's suicide rate, one has to wonder why you would go to a "suicide" forest, and expect to not see a suicide. Granted, this seems like one of those "you never think it will happen to you." type things.
- Aside from Adpocalypse 3, the consequences could also damage the perception of Gaijins in japan. I'd like to say the stupid mother fucker represents himself, but it just doesn't work that way.
- Fuck his suicide awareness bullshit! He put the dead body on the thumbnail. How expletive can you get!? Parents never taught you shame?
He also wore that goofy ass hat in such a tragic moment. Most people would have taken off the hat, stopped recording, and then stayed away from the body and called the proper authorities.
The dude literally ran up close like 10 feet from the body.. And yeah, he has a team of editors and final say on what goes up. So he obviously thought it was a good idea to upload and show the body.
- He's not japanese. He'd need the guide to handle that part, but I want to assume there is a ready way to get to fluent english speakers when calling the cops there. English is everywhere else.
