What makes people that mean-spirited and judgmental??? True conservatives are just people with some old school opinions and a firm set of beliefs that include being cynical of a big central government, etc. But a lot of people who call themselves conservatives are just people trying to fit in and look cool by pretending that they're tough and don't care about anybody.
