Okay that is fucked up.


Well according to them it's either slow down your phone or the shit just randomly shuts off. Pretty sure people would rather the phone work slower than random reboots.

Now the best solution would be to solve the problem without slowing down phones. Maybe they will try with a new update?

new update slows down all phone as if the battery is already worn down, that way, when the battery actually does wear down, it doesn't have to slow the phone down any further.


You sure about that? I thought I read that someone with a non degraded battery would still have better performance which is why they are offering new batteries. If they slowed down the phone regardless then people wouldn't want a new battery.
