Divinity: Original Sin 2

I can't believe I never played this before. I hadn't even heard of it, and I'm a massive Infinity Engine fan. Once I tried this one I was hooked, and I just started playing through Divine Divinity so I can do the whole franchise.

If you liked DD, you'll probably like Original Sin 2. It's an interquel that comes after Divine Divinity, and it has similar tropes and themes that Divine Divinity had. The combat is obviously the biggest difference, and I don't think OS2 is nearly as big as Divine Divinity. However, if you're a fan of pixel hunting for amazing treasure that just so happens to be laying out in the open and the lateral thinking Divine Divinity offered, you're in for a treat.

Oh that's what I mean, DOS2 is what I was gifted by a friend, so I started playing the older ones.

The two Original Sin games are prequels to Divine Divinity if you want to follow chronological order for the series.

Is it? Do you know the whole franchise's chronological order? When I started playing DOS2 it felt like there was a ton of background I was missing.
