Topic	So, what are the Hand of Fate games about? Deck builders?

You can start on the second if you want. It's not really a linear story driven game. I'm not even sure that that the protagonist is the same in both games. The Dealer is the same, but he's some sort of psychopomp 'guider-of-souls' type, so it's not really hard to grasp the story. As for gameplay, both games have basically a tutorial chapter to show you the ropes. It's pretty intuitive either way.
