We dont do crossbows, and again, Iroquois longbows are made to suit the user. Not some mass produced, store bought bow. A bow meant to match her size and weight. Wood picked from the Adirondacks and hand made by a life long bow maker.
You do know those mass produced compound bows are more efficient in transferring energy and are also fitted specifically to the user, right? You can adjust draw weight and length on any decent youth bow. I really dont see why you keep throwing out the meant to match the shooters size and weight, blah blah blah like that is something special.
I stand by the fact that 90% of 8yr old girls can not pull back a bow strong enough to kill a deer, at least not ethically or legally.
Another reason I doubt your claim is because most states have already had their gun season and are coming up on muzzle loader season. Archery season started months ago. I know some people still prefer archery but those are also people who have usually already finished hunting by now. Its not impossible...just a lot of things that add up to a somewhat hard to believe story. Especially with how often people on CE lie about pointless shit.

No shit bow season was months ago. However, doesnt apply to natives hunting on private land. I can hunt year round, though hunting in summer just leads to tick filled kills. ---
