If you live in a pre-streaming world where everyone watches subscription TV and buys movies on disc. Where X1 excels is in having good support for shit nobody uses anymore. That's part of the reason people hated MS's 2013 unveiling. How many people, even ones with 4K TVs, actually BUY 4K BD movies? And yes it has Cortana....
