If I went to China I wouldn't publically walk around going "Chinese New Year is dumb, the Year started over a month ago you idiots get with the times." and If I did I would expect blowback. You're welcome to your own culture but why do you have to disrespect the culture you live in? that's like biting the hand that's feeding you.
