| Topic | Could any other actor have done a better job as Anakin than Hayden Christensen? |
| action52 12/26/17 6:18:05 AM #12: | Definitely. I think Christensen is a decent actor but the part was a poor match for him. It needed him to be likeable, charismatic, and believable as a love interest. But he just comes across as a creep. He does well in the moments calling for him to be dark and evil but is a poor match for the rest. Of course there are other factors. He probably didn't get much direction with the scenes that were hard for him. Also the writing was not very good. And there certainly are actors who would have done worse than him. I wouldn't say Hayden is the main reason the character doesn't work but it definitely could have been better with a talented actor who was a better fit. --- i am truley sorry for your lots ...
