I finished up The Hobbit a week or so ago, and now I'm on Fellowship of the Ring. I haven't seen any of the new Hobbit movies, so I can't really compare it to those. I saw one of the really old cartoon versions of The Hobbit a long time ago, but I barely remember it. It was a pretty fun story. I don't think there was a single female character in the entire story though, as far as I remember. Now I've seen The Lord of the Rings movies, so I have a comparison point there, although I'm not intimately familiar with it. The first half of Fellowship is just them getting out of the Shire and to Rivendell. This was my first experience with the character Tom Bombadil and not the user, so that was interesting. I've still been listening to Agatha Christie books, too, but nobody here seemed to care about that, so whatever. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
