hmmm could be like a game theory kind of thing

for example, kingpin has a sense of honor
he doesn't do horrible things without a reason
but let's say he dies
someone else might take his place
and that someone might be even worse than the kingpin
and then the hero might have led to some more deaths than before
unwittingly, but that's the way it goes

maybe it's the same for others

i doubt it but i'm having fun with this
