This is why there are many movies--some not even race-based--where a White guy hooks up with a non-Black woman, but barely any with the opposite, unless the film is actually about race (and even then, he still might not end up with her in the end).

This is why Will Smith in Hitch got with Eva Mendez instead of the White actress they originally wanted.
It's also why the main actor and actress in the film adaptation of The Pelican Brief simply hugged at the end, where in the book they outright had sex.
