Is having sex with a vagina all that much different than a gaping wound?

Yes.

For one thing it has its own elasticity so it "hugs" your dick, and you don't have to use artificial lube.

Most e post menopausal women have to take estrogen supplements and most still won't get wet enough to not need lube. For that matter, some people like butt stuff so lube. Or fisting. So lube.

Okay but I'm not going to be banging a post-menopausal woman for a very long time and I don't ever want to do anal.

Anal is fun. You're missing out.

Too gross for me to enjoy anything from it.

You do know that it shouldn't be gross though? Like. If you plan on doing it then whoever is going to be taking it from behind should eat light or not at all most of the preceding 24 hours. Anal enema beforehand as well. Should be clean and not have anything inside during or afterwards. Plus having it clean like that means that more lube can go inside and you won't need to reapply it nearly as often.

I don't like the idea of putting my genitals inside someone's colon on principle. That's really all there is to it.

Plus if it takes that much preparation to get it fully set up then I'd rather just do vaginal.
