Like looking at my game of the years for the past few years 2016: Inside 2015: Life is Strange 2014: Octodad: Dadliest Catch 2013: Bioshock Infinite 2012: Journey Sure, Life is Strange isn't an indie, but it damn well plays like one. And Bioshock isn't either, but that's also a top 5 game for me. But that's only been a mostly recent thing. Years before that 2011: Portal 2 2010: God of War III 2009: Assassin's Creed II 2008: Super Smash Bros Brawl 2007: Bioshock 2006: Kingdom Hearts II So is it mostly because there's more Indies now? Better Indies? Has my taste in games just changed? Maybe I'm just becoming pretentious?
