I clicked upon this topic as I took my first plunge into what I like to call "Apple" - a food that may be a stranger to some, an old friend washed away in the sea of memory...but for me? A daily occurrence. Apple is my friend, and I am Apple's friend...We're one in the same, me and Apple. Just two peas in this vessel we call life. Do we dwell upon the vulgarities of PotD as if it's some sort of curse? No! We crunch and munch as the days pass over us, like a witty punchline going over a layman's head.

Reading this topic reminded me of the first time Apple and I met - a chilled fall evening at the orchard. Apple came to me in a gallon-sized jug, calling itself "cider" and what a sight that was! That apple can be a liquid as well as a solid! Apple truly conquers all states of being!
