Okay you have a long-ass relationship with someone and never knew they were trans. How would finding out be different from any other massive thing that person has lied to not told you about? It might be interesting to him because the reactions can vary so much from person to person. Some people are more or less Ok with being lied to, others never get over it and some will even kill the liar because of their dishonesty. Like you said, it doesn't even have to be the trans issue. Any signifcant deception could be a catalyst for an unpredictable reaction. They aren't being lied to though. Transwoman are woman. It's up to the boyfriend to accept that fact. It's not a fact though. It's a matter of opinion. well sure, if you're ok with the idea that opinions can be objectively wrong Sure. This isn't one of those cases though. Whether or not you see Trans women as women is practically a philosophical thing.
