No, they didnt. There's a reason why no president would want to make the move (as you can see the consequences of now).
secondly, it isn't their capital by right. Israel tried to take it by force. Anything by annexation is downright condemned, like how Russia tried the same with Crimea.

because these are the only two big powers in the world and have significant relationships with USA. But if you cared to notice, every single other country, and not just Muslim ones like Indonesia and Malaysia, voted in support of the resolution as well.
