Everytime you get put to sleep theres a chance that you'll never wake back up. Dont know how small or large the chance is but the possibility is there.

Local anesthetic is the way to go. Normally they just give you a few injections into the gums and you wont feel a thing afterwards. You wont even feel you lips and face a few hours after.

Yeah all four of my wisdom teeth were impacted. Local anesthetic was cheaper but I really didn't need the memory of the oral surgeon on top of me drilling and cracking bones out of my skull. No thanks. Woke up in the recovery room after talking to a pretty lady about the weather. All I remember.
