Its also a really poor idea to cut supply side taxes when the stock market says the economy is doing well.

if you want to assert that the stock market isnt accurately reflecting main street and want to give the average american some tax relief to stimulate the economy you should do a demand side cut by cutting payroll taxes for a set period of time.

Or even broadly cutting taxes across the board in a more reasonable way a la Bush in 2001 and 2003 would have been better.

This is just a cash grab
