The film attempts to convey the desperation with Rose's sister's suicide bombing run, and the relentless cruiser chase scenes that you hated. einegutePerson posted... The salt world speeders had me so perplexed. Tactically, they are bright red SHOOT ME targets. And then they weren't shot at until MUCH later. And they stopped shooting Finn for some reason. Which was hilarious. And the crash should have killed both Finn and Rose. The red is a feature of the planet the the resistance doesn't have any other options when it comes to choosing vehicles. The enemy TIE fighters have to launch before they can fire on the speeders. Later, they stop shooting at Finn because Kylo impulsively directs all air cover to engage his father's ship. einegutePerson posted... And the lightsaber battle was entertaining, but clearly they are choosing to hold back on those fights. They didn't hold back with the Praetorian Guard... that choreography was some of the best in the series --- BKSheikah owned me so thoroughly in the 2017 guru contest, I'd swear he used the Lens of Truth to pick his bracket.
