If your question is why she is so good with the force, it's because she's the counterpart to Kylo. I'd assume if Disney wanted to explain this, it would be similar to the reason why Anakin was conceived. For balance purposes or whatever.

Also, pretty sure Rey saved the books. You see them in the compartment that Fin gets the blanket out of for Rose at the end.

Also probably because he couldn't get off the island.

Also might feel guilt over thinking of killing him the first time.
