IMO, Bumble is much better than Tinder at this point.

My personal favorite is JSwipe -- which is basically the same interface as prime Tinder -- but that's a niche app that's not going to work well outside maybe 3-4 cities in the U.S.

I'm Jewish and I had no idea said app existed -- will try downloading (live in Minneapolis, I'll probably not find much success since it's not a massive city but it's worth a shot).

Also, the Bumble dynamic tends to be better for guys, despite intuitively seeming like the opposite. If a girl is messaging you, you're already through two levels of clearance in (passed the physical check, passed the opportunity cost check). Even though it's more tilted towards dating than hooking up like Tinder, the time-to-hook up ratio is still much better on Bumble for any decent guy. The app is also much better designed.

it's great for guys like you who have social value

it's kind of an auto-weedout for guys of lower social value. women will always date up when possible, same as men. bad place for CE.

Bumble is fucking me too though -- I'm a classy fam and I lowered my standards to rock-bottom levels, but I still only got one match. I read that they show accounts by number of times they get swiped right on, as opposed to factoring in recent account activity -- the result is hundreds of hot women who haven't been on bumble in years, but are still up front because people keep swiping right and bumping them up. My thumb hurts from spam-swiping just to get to some more active profiles.
