Women love what you provide for them, not you as a person. They definitely want something substantial from you, money, attention, etc.
As someone who has been in a serious relationship for more than two years now, I can confirm this is absolutely not true and it actually makes me sick to the stomache that anyone actually believes this sort of bulls***. Maybe you are hanging with the wrong women, or maybe you yourself only "love" (and I use that term loosely) women for what they provide for you: Attention, sexual pleasure, whatever. If that is how you think, maybe it's time you defy your thinking. There is much more to a romantic relationship that using each other. Love is an absolutely beautiful thing, but if you're living in a society where you reject the source of that love, of course our views on love will be horrendously skewed.
