Wickle - I mean, you knew this movie would get hurt a little due to gore if you heard anything about me. And if you question the gore, it was especially Gogos little kill when explaining her character. That was gross. Plenty of scenes made me look away from the movie because Im goddamn squeamish. Granted, despite that beheading being stupidly unrealistic and it being tied to her character I think O-Ren is potentially my favorite live action female character after watching this. I enjoy Yakuza people anyway, because of the Japanese honor on top of just being sheer badassness. As well, I enjoy the scene shifting and even the sequences of removing color were brilliant. I just dont like that the second kill was basically a 2 minute sequence, I bet its because she was black. O-Ren gets this super detailed backstory and then other girl just dies. I cant even remember her name and it was written on the plane again at the end. Also, I like the idea that he built hype values at the very end with showing us Buddy and Rider? Damnit, forgot her name too. And then the scene with Bill and the secretary.

JONA - It's a very stylish movie and has one really great fight scene but the style is kinda all over the place and it's just too long of a movie with scenes that go too long. Really wish the volumes were just one movie. The scene with Hattori Hanzo takes so much time for a sword that doesn't matter at all in Vol. 2. O-Ren's backstory while nice also takes a lot of time for something that also really doesn't matter. I still like the movie but it's just so bloated and too focused on style points.
