The problem is twofold:
1. Using a shitty explanation based off of misrepresented data. Gay men do have higher rates of HIV than straight men, but gay porn stars do not have significantly higher rates than straight porn stars.
It's less of her opinion here and more that it felt like a copout where people felt she was being homophobic as using "this is science guys" as an excuse.
2. Using twitter as a mouthpiece for her own drama. You don't get to put out an opinion on Twitter and then complain when people use Twitter to put out their own opinions back. That's ridiculous. Furthermore, spreading misinformation to half a million followers is something that should be called out.

No one is happy she died, just saying that you don't have to be sad about it either. Again, we don't know if she was homophobic or not, but she certainly bought into false narratives and was happy to spread them. Add to it that she killed herself in a public park, and most people's sympathy is gonna be low.
