Topic | What gun should I get as my service pistol? |
Captain_CE 12/09/17 12:16:02 AM #35: | GregShmedley posted... My first pistol was an XD9. I loved it and won't ever part ways with it. I never understood the hate. Then after getting more into shooting and trying different handguns, my love for it is only based on it being sentimental. It isn't the worst out there by any means but I'm just not too crazy about it. As I said, the XD is fine on the range, smooth action, accurate, good trigger. Their biggest flaw is the firing pin witness hole in the striker plate. It allows dirt to get in to the slide. As a every duty gun it is prone to failure. And a "properly" loaded 10mm exceeds the safety factor for most firearms. All of the factory ammo you can buy is loaded to the same pressure as .40. You can get more kenetic energy with a 9mm +p+. --- well, i got owned-lucasteh5th http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/5836/watz.png ... Copied to Clipboard! |
