it is kindof expensive. I've never gone on my own, but always with my parents who paid most of the money. Now that I am in my 30's I may never go back again unless I come into some money. I've been 3 times though. it's nice but if you can manage to get there, I recommend going in the winter. it's the off season for tourists so less people. and the sun is less intense, but still very warm. Winter in hawaii is like summer in most other states
