I recommend Nier: Automata. While I liked the original game more (it felt like a hybrid of Monster Hunter and Ocarina of Time), this was still a great experience with tons of replay value. The variety in the gameplay is fun and unique too.

Shadow of War, despite looking like a big improvement, was actually less fun than Shadow of Mordor for me. Maybe it's because the formula just got old...? I had some serious technical issues with it, such as buttons not working and having to restart a checkpoint. This stuff may have been patched, and I haven't played it since launch week, so no idea... It's good, the nemesis system is fun, but the game is pretty bland.

Wolfenstein 2 is relatively lacking in length/content and despite some cool action and iconic moments, is really dragged down by pushing a social agenda whenever possible (it also includes the most insufferable couple in gaming history). I preferred The New Order and The Old Blood. This one contains some of the most blatant pandering I've seen. I don't care if it's a message I agree with or not, that's beside the point, I just don't want to feel like I'm watching a political rant on YouTube when I wanted to play a game and turn my brain off for a bit. To put it into perspective, I thought Mass Effect: Andromeda was far less preachy and I wasn't really bothered by anything despite its reputation as "an SJW game"...

Horizon is just another Sony game. It's pretty good, all their stuff is become pretty homogenized now, and I'm personally tired of much of what they create. The setting and lore are interesting, and there's a lot to do. If you can't get enough of the Sony formula, you'll love it... I was disappointed, but probably because my expectations were too high and I'm sort of over things like this (which isn't really a reflection on the product as much as my taste).

If you don't like Dark Souls or Bloodborne, avoid Nioh. It's different, but not enough that you'll get past that.

For Honor is not well designed from an netcode perspective, and given that's basically the whole point of it, pass. The community is also on its way out from what I understand. Ubisoft blew what could've been something cool.

I haven't played Hellblade or Crash, but have heard good things about both.
