The wii was up against the PS2, not the PS3. The WiiU was up against people who thought it was a black Wii. And the switch is just trying to sell a lot. It's in competition with the PS4 and the xbox1, but not more so than it is in competition with pc games, and mobile games. And other toys. I hope it sells a lot.
