I literally can't understand what's wrong about critically reflecting on the contents of the stories we tell our children instead of just accepting them like religious sheep because of some sacred tradition.

Whats wrong here is that youre trying to have a reasoned discussion about rape culture on GameFAQs, of all places. Lets just say that a majority of the posters here arent really interested in changing their minds about how women are perceived and treated.

Youd honestly have a more productive dialogue about the topic in a second-grade classroom.

It's a one sided conversation. It's aaaalways about women and their problems, never men.

All talk of "rape culture" paints women as the only, if not overwhelming victims of it.

Anyway sleeping beauty isn't a story worth even talking about. It's a book, it's fantasy, it has context, get over it.
