But given the current political climate and the left's backlash towards Trump, it absolutely is and it should be taken seriously. For example, I'm sure that if someone was just bored one day and decided to play with some rope and make a noose you wouldn't bat an eye. But, if they decided to leave it dangling from a tree in a black person's yard you would treat that as a potential threat.
