After the annual bonus it's about $10k more give or take. Base salary is only $5k more.
The move had more to do with being in the field I want (renewable energy development), and most important getting away from the icy hellscape of Northeast Winters.
Technically it's in La Jolla so not actually San Diego proper.

What's stopping people from going to more renewable energy? They have panels for homes..I don't see why you wouldn't in California outside of initial start up cost. Or is it politicians trying to put regulations on it since Edison doesn't want to make a loss?
