He resigned before shit really hit the fan, then got pardoned by the next guy anyway.

Well Trump better hope the American public is stupid enough to elect another Republican president.

Unless Pence and Paul Ryan are both taken down simultaneously, there will be a pardon.


I'm 50/50 on whether he would get pardoned or not. The main reason Nixon wasn't pursued was in an attempt to help the country heal and to not tarnish the office of the presidency any more than it had already endured. Meanwhile you have good old Trump saying something absurd and lowering the opinion of the country on the daily, some people in power would let him burn for some of the shit he's said.
