BLM is not a hate group. Black people can't be racists in a society where they are the minority and they are systematically being oppressed by the majority.

I cringe so hard every time I see this laughably ignorant argument pop up.

Yes, in America, institutional racism works almost exclusively against minorities. However, that in no way means that said minorities can't be racist themselves on the individual and group levels. Use your head, ffs

You have obviously not experienced systematic oppression. You have no idea of how limiting it is for a person to be mistrusted and treated like second-class citizens by the privileged majority. Maybe you should check your privilege.

I'm sure it must be shitty to go through that, and it sucks that it's the reality we face. That still doesn't excuse a ridiculous statement like "black people can't be racist" though, I'm sorry.

They can be racist. Just not in America.

So you're telling me that if an African-American man calls for the death of white people based solely on the color of their skin, that's not a racist sentiment? What about black people who dislike Latinos for their race? That's not racist either, huh??

Get a clue, dude. Just because your group doesn't have the power to enforce institutional racism doesn't mean that it's impossible for members of that group to be racist in any way. That's fucking absurd.
