Yeah and I'm saying their setup is still crap even if it isn't subjective if it's possible to make the playoffs with a losing record. The equivalent of that for CFB would be a team like UCF, but with losses, getting picked because they beat up on their conference that is significantly worse than any of the Power 5 conferences. CFB playoff spots (and prior to that, BCS) may be subjective there is no chance in hell a team with a losing record would be rewarded with something like that, with the best and least likely outcome being some extremely shitty last chance bowl game. Up until yesterday there were discussions about if Auburn, a 2-loss team at that point, should make the playoffs if they had defeated Georgia again.
