So you're saying that instead of introducing regulations to make it easier for new competition to crop up, we should introduce regulation to make it harder?

My whole point with that post was that regulations today make it almost impossible to start a business in a lot of sectors, which makes it harder to gain wealth, which is a symptom of corruption as the rich bribe government officials to make laws so their businesses have an easier time.

There will always be a need for government to get involved. The issue I have is the way they get involved.
