From the perspective of most secular philosophies upholding personal agency as a virtue, anti-abortion legislation is none of the state's business. And from a results perspective increasing access to abortion is good for society, enduring fewer children are born to people who shouldn't have them. And putting less of a strain on society to fix the mistakes of accidental parents. Does the unborn not have personal agency? You don't have to be religious to see that abortion is wrong.
