You know you're only in legal trouble because you were the one violating people's civil rights, correct? Criminals and people on trial do have their rights suspended/restricted, in order to protect the people around them. That's simply how the justice system works, filing an appeal based on you having your rights violated by the law, while on trial for violating the rights of others is dumb, and won't hold water at all.

If you truly felt people's rights are that important, there'd be no reasonable excuse for the actions that you got you in trouble to begin with. This just reeks of someone not wanting to take responsibility of their own choices and hoping that someone in the system is dumb enough to fall for some legalese mumbo jumbo.

Considering you don't understand that in America we have a "presumption of innocence" you don't have any actual credibility to your beliefs.
