All of our computers were recently updated with Windows 10. Most potentially harmful actions are prevented by group policy, with one exception - Windows updates. They're free to be installed by the user, or ignored until Windows forces them on you and triggers a restart, often when you're first trying to log on during a busy morning. Rather than hold back updates and test them, or install them after hours when the office is closed, they just let the chips fall where they may.

When I finally submitted a ticket about it this morning saying that it was disrupting our workflow and customer interactions, the response back was essentially "you're free not to install them, or to use another computer when they're installing."

I get the feeling that they're either idiots or sadists, or both.
