hell in flashpoint wonder woman kills his wife starting a war between the two of them. and it actually started over arthur cheating on his wife with wonder woman IIRC
Oh man was that a dark movie and it wasn't just the killing of various characters but to actually see characters getting impaled or shot in the head. I think only the death of Billy was semi-censored.

I still need to read the actual comic. i've only read the spin off just about thomas wayne batman from that timeline. that was also dark.
the joker is actually martha wayne. and she causes thomas wayne batman to shoot a kid in the chest, by tying the kid up to a cutout, and their hand tied up with a gun in their hand to where batman only saw a silhouette of someone pointing a gun at him. he reacted and shot this little kid right in the chest. and if memory serves correct, thomas actually tells martha that flash informed him of the whole flashpoint crap and that in the normal timeline bruce is alive. she seems happy for a moment until thomas tells her that he instead became batman. she then runs off and kills herself IIRC ---
