| Prestoff 11/27/17 1:51:59 AM #39: | SC 2 was the flagship game that really brought Soul Calibur series mainstream in my opinion, mostly because of the guest characters (Link being the biggest even though he looks creepy as fuck). But honestly playing the actual game, there was so many balance issues that it's really hard now to play competitively. Some moves were beyond useless while some movies ended up doing way too many good things that you end up seeing tournament matches spamming certain moves because of good damage output as well as it being safe. SC5 fixed this, but also made defensive play just as important as going full on rush down with the perfect defense by pressing the guard button at the right time. --- It's what all true warriors strive for! ...
