And break things, Trump has... 2020 is going to hopefully be a reset with good candidates rather than a case of "who are you voting against?" The saying "there are no fat men in the revolution" is a bit extreme, but works well as a metaphor. Voters were largely apathetic before Trump, but he's been good at riling people up and getting them to care more, whether they're with or against him. If he lasts the duration of his term (and I suspect he will), all the chaos his administration will have caused by then should be enough to encourage real change. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but it'd be nice if things got better rather than keep throwing more garbage on the dumpster fire.
