Mama C was not a horrible person at all. She wasn't very relatable for the reasons you state, but she did not seem to be as awful as Will or Dan. I disagree with you on Joe. He never struck me as THAT arrogant. His Cambodia Ponderosa was highly indicative that he thought of himself as Hercules. A lot of talk about how some "god" gave him his powers. His ego is nothing on the level of Ozzy's, of course, but it's there. I don't hate Joe, but I think the casuals revering him is undeserved. I do agree with you on Shirin though. While she was absolutely the victim of an attack on the show, she herself doesn't seem like a particularly good person. And I say that as a fan.
